Hotel
SABEW has contracted with two local hotels. The Chelsea Hotel is a four-minute walk to campus and costs $152 USD/$199 CAD a night without tax. This is the budget-friendly, no frills option. To take advantage of the discounted rates, book online or call the hotel at 1-800-CHELSEA (243-5732) or 416-595-1975. Identify yourself as part of the "2020 SABEW Conference" or use the reservation ID SAB042920 to get the discounted rate. The deadline is April 7.
The Grand Hotel and Suites is a 10-minute walk to campus and the more upscale option of the two hotels. The rate is $227 USD/$299 CAD. To reserve a room within the block, please call toll free 1-877-324-7263 or email reservations@grandhoteltoronto.com. Indicate to the reservations team at the time of booking that you are booking with the SABEW group. This will ensure that you are able to book with the special rate within the group. The deadline is March 30.

It takes six to eight weeks to get a passport however, you can choose an expedited service which can take up to four weeks including two weeks to make an appointment and then an additional two weeks to process. There is a $60 fee for expedited requests.
Two Toronto airport options
Toronto has two airports - Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ). You can land in the heart of Toronto with taxis from downtown costing about $10 CAD/$8 USD if you fly into YTZ. Shop around and check out Google flights. American Airlines and United Airlines fly direct from many U.S cities as well as non-stop flights being offered by Porter Airlines and Air Canada.
